Signs Of Silence is supported 100% by fund raising events and donations from people like you. Since our inception we have never believed in Government support or relying soley on grants to fund our agency’s goals and objectives. Our approach for support requires participation from the deaf and allows us to partner with local businesses to raise money and establishing long lasting relationships that benefits everyone. By following this philosophy we are creating more of an awareness of our deaf community and also creating more opportunities to achieve accessibility to needed services.

There are several ways you can support SOS....

1. Shop at Albertsons Grocery Store and simply enter our phone number, 760-744-1325. A percentage of your shopping total will be mailed to us each quarter in the form of a check, plus you receive a discount of your total bill.

2. Our Patron Program allows you to send in a monthly check and a receipt for your donation will be mailed back to you promptly.

3. You can also support us through your local chapter of the United Way. Simply call them and mention our name, Signs Of Silence, and you will be mailed a form and you can start supporting us through payroll deduction.

4. Lastly, simply click on the Donate button to donate online.

All your donations are tax deductible. We do not have paid staff. We are strictly volunteer based. This means 100 % of your donation goes directly to improve the quality of life for the deaf community in San Diego. Your investment in a deaf life is appreciated!
